About White Elephant Online
The idea for White Elephant Online was born in the middle of the pandemic in August of 2020. The popular gift-swap game was a favorite holiday tradition of Dave’s, and when he searched for how he could continue that tradition with friends and colleagues he realized there was no way to play the game virtually.
Within three months our small team was able to take the concept from idea to reality. We launched on November 23, 2020 and since then hundreds of thousands of people have played the game they know and love on our platform.
We’ve been touched by the overwhelmingly positive feedback we’ve received from people who are able to connect in a fun and meaningful way with their colleagues and loved ones, even while they’re apart. Our vision is to bring this joyful game to everyone, becoming the holiday tradition of remote teams and far-flung family & friends around the world.
Meet our Co-Founders
Dave
David has spent his career building software at tech startups and was most recently the Senior Director of Product at a property-tech firm in New York City. He is passionate about providing a great product experience and is the creative mind behind White Elephant Online.
He has a bachelor’s degree in Business and Entrepreneurship from Babson College.
Andrzej
Andrzej brings years of engineering experience to the team having worked in a wide range of industries. He is experienced in bringing new products to market and is the force responsible for the platform powering White Elephant Online.
He has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Ramapo College of New Jersey.
Leliah
Leliah brings a diverse background to the White Elephant Online Team. She started her career in Finance and worked for several major banks before breaking out on her own to start a real estate investment company.
In addition to being a co-founder of White Elephant Online, she is also the co-founder of NILETA, a womenswear company based out of New York City. She has a bachelor’s degree in both Economics and Philosophy from Wellesley College.
