WEO Gifting and gift fulfillment

When you use WEO Gifting to purchase, select, send, receive, or arrange delivery of a physical gift, we may collect personal information needed to operate the service and complete the transaction.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use WEO Gifting, this information may include:

• Your name, email address, telephone number, WEO account information, and participant information;

• A recipient’s name, email address, telephone number, and shipping address;

• Gift selections, product options, order details, order numbers, and delivery information;

• Information about the associated game or event;

• Communications with WEO Support;

• Photographs or other evidence submitted in connection with damaged, defective, or missing-item claims;

• Payment and transaction information; and

• Device, authentication, fraud-prevention, and usage information associated with the transaction.

Payment information may be collected and processed directly by our payment processors. WEO may receive transaction details, payment status, and limited payment-method information rather than complete payment-card details.

Information about other people

You may provide information about another person when inviting a participant, sending a gift, entering a delivery address, or contacting us about an order.

If you provide another person’s information, you represent that you are authorized to provide it for the relevant gifting, fulfillment, delivery, or support purpose. You should provide only the information reasonably necessary for that purpose.

How we use WEO Gifting information

We may use information collected through WEO Gifting to:

• Operate and administer the gifting service;

• Display available gifts and process gift selections;

• Process payments and maintain transaction records;

• Submit, fulfill, ship, track, and deliver gift orders;

• Send order, delivery, and service-related communications;

• Provide customer support;

• Investigate and resolve damaged, defective, delayed, or missing-item claims;

• Detect and prevent fraud, unauthorized transactions, misuse, and security incidents;

• Calculate, collect, report, and remit applicable taxes;

• Maintain accounting, tax, and business records;

• Enforce our Terms and protect WEO, our users, and our service providers; and

How we disclose WEO Gifting information

We may disclose information needed to process, fulfill, deliver, or support a gift order to:

• Snappy App, Inc., which assists WEO with gift catalog and fulfillment services;

• Product suppliers and dropship vendors;

• Shipping carriers and delivery providers;

• Warehousing, logistics, and third-party fulfillment providers;

• Technology and integration-platform providers;

• Payment processors, including Stripe;

• Fraud-prevention, security, and authentication providers;

• Customer-support and communications providers;

• Professional advisers and regulatory or governmental authorities where required or permitted by law; and

• Other service providers that help us operate WEO Gifting.

These parties receive only the information reasonably necessary for their functions, subject to applicable contractual and legal requirements. Certain suppliers, carriers, or fulfillment partners may process information under their own legal obligations and privacy practices.

Snappy may engage subprocessors and fulfillment partners to provide its services. Snappy may also use aggregated or deidentified information for analytics, market research, service improvement, and product development, provided that the information cannot reasonably be linked to an identifiable individual or household.

We do not authorize Snappy to sell WEO Gifting personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

When contact or delivery information is collected, users will be shown a notice such as:

We share the information needed for fulfillment with Snappy and its product suppliers, logistics providers, and shipping carriers. Children under 13

WEO Gifting is not intended for use by children under 13. Children under 13 may not independently purchase, select, send, receive, or otherwise use WEO Gifting or submit personal information through the service.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through WEO Gifting. If we learn that a child under 13 has independently provided personal information through the service, we will take reasonable steps to remove or delete it and may notify the applicable fulfillment provider so that it can take corresponding action.

An adult may purchase or send a gift intended for a child and provide delivery information for that purpose, provided that the adult is authorized to provide the information and remains responsible for the transaction.

A parent or legal guardian who believes a child under 13 has provided personal information through WEO Gifting may contact us at support@whiteelephantonline.com.

Retention

We retain WEO Gifting information for as long as reasonably necessary to:

• Process and fulfill the applicable order;

• Provide support and resolve delivery or product claims;

• Maintain required financial, transaction, tax, and accounting records;

• Prevent fraud and enforce our agreements;

• Resolve disputes; and

• Comply with applicable law.

Our service providers may retain information for the duration of their services and for additional periods required by law or maintained through secure backup and disaster-recovery systems. We do not retain personal information for longer than reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, subject to legal and operational requirements.

International processing

WEO and its service providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. Where required, we use legally recognized safeguards for transfers of personal information between jurisdictions.
