Frequently asked questions
Is WEO Gifting included in the price of a WEO game?
No. You'll purchase a regular WEO game at standard pricing. During setup, you can enable WEO Gifting and choose a per-gift budget. The gifts are purchased separately after the game.
Who chooses the gifts?
You can choose all the gifts as the organizer, or let participants choose their own gifts from the curated catalog before the event begins.
Who pays for the gifts?
The organizer can pay for all gifts after the game. Where participant payments are supported, each participant pays for the gift they submitted—not the gift they won—and sends it to the winner.
When are gifts purchased?
Gift purchases take place after the exchange, once the game determines who won each gift.
Does the gift budget include shipping and taxes?
Yes. Your selected per-gift budget is all-in and includes the gift, shipping, taxes, and applicable fees.
Are shipping addresses shared with other players?
No. Recipients provide their shipping information privately so gifts can be delivered without sharing addresses with other players.
When will gifts arrive?
Delivery timing depends on the gifts, destinations, and when post-game purchases are completed. Check the applicable delivery estimates during checkout.
